US any day. UK rap is IMO rubbish but there are quite a few decent US rappers.

You listed Dolla as popular? Who is dolla?
Whose gudda wudda? Plus wyclef isn't as popular as he once was. US anyday. Nicki Minaj, Drake, Eminem are the best rappers around imo. TI and Lil wayne are nothing special and terribly overated. I like dizzee but he doesn't rap about anything relevant. No UK rappers really talk personal and chat about relevant stuff in the world like US. |

Gudda Gudda is the guy who sings in Bed Rock.Chipmunk kinda did in Oopsy daisy but it was minor. |

US, by miles! There are a few UK rappers I don't mind but I prefer American rappers in general (Jay-Z, Eminem, Nas, Mos Def, Kanye, OutKast, Lupe Fiasco etc).

Most of our "rappers" have all sold out to Euro-pop dance anthems. Whilst they're good songs, it's not rap nor hip-hop. Even Wiley, though at least he tells a story through his songs (but does it have substance?), and kinda pushes the envelope with experimental sounds.
Out of the ones I follow, Kano is the only local rap artist that's kept it together. |
