There's certainly nothing wrong with the 3GS's screen. But after just a couple of days of using retina the difference in resolution is obvious if you happen to pick up a 3GS. My OH still has a 3GS and if I pick her phone up now, the pixelisation of text and images on the screen is obvious and actually looks really bad to me but of course, I am now used to retina display so that's why

There is no such thing as Retina.
It is Apple just giving yet another pet name. This time to old screen technology.

It is a decent display though some may prefer the more all round qualities of Super AMOLED.

I've had a 3g for some time and have been desperate to upgrade to something new, but am leaning towards 3gs instead of 4 for a few reasons:

- The antenna issue worries me because It is a flaw that should not be seen in such an expensive phone.
- I am not willing to take on a 24 month contract at the prices the major networks are offering. The only affordable contract is Tesco's £20 12month one (both 3gs and 4), where it it seems they wont have any iphone 4's for absolutely ages, I dont really want to wait.
- Apples attitudes worry me, if their phone has a fault they should be more upfront about it. To me it seems that they have treated their loyal customers badly. This makes me want to switch to android.

In all, am I crazy to want to go with the 3gs? The iphone 4 just seems to have too many issues, and I'm not rich lol, the 3gs is more in my price bracket, and only 12 months contract. Win??
