Speaker Setup
Anyone out there got any top tips for getting speaker levels right? My biggest prob is the fact that the best watching/listening position is nearer to the right speakers than the left, and I just can't sem to get the balance right. Been bugging me for ages.
Any cool tips/ideas appreciated. Cheers. |

Depending on the surround amplifier you`re using, there should be a delay setting feature, this gives you the option of delaying the sound from any speaker, if it`s a 5:1 system, anywhere from 10 to 30 milliseconds, if you set the delay heavier on the right sided speakers this will go some way to solving your problem, then it will be just a matter of playing around with the individual volumes to create the correct balance.

John,
Cheers for that - hadn't thought of using the delay on the amp. However, I won't be able to try this at the mo as my amp decided to stop working last weekend! I'll give it a go once I get it back from repair, hoperfully it won't be too long as I can't survive just on the telly pro-logic for much longer!!
