Was I the only unfortunate person to have witnessed tonight's Fair City, or in fact any of the run-up to Barry uncovering the whole teacher/student affair? How is it that this plot is being acclaimed as "dynamite" in all the TV mags...??? Or more puzzling still: why has Ross been dubbed "dishy" in some guides!?!

Am I the only one who thinks this storyline has brought Fair City to an all new level of hopelessness? Seriously.. do the producers have no sense at all, even if it was a credible story then why would they put two such terrible actors in the limelight?

It is the most unconvincing storyline I've seen in a soap. It's like a storyline from Dawson's Creek. The writers obviously let their imaginations run away with them.

No, I haven't heard of River City.
