Just for fun, and with the emphasis on entertainment value, who would you like to see on the show?

Name any pro - past or present (or even ones who have never been on the show!) - & celeb, but try and give a reason for choosing them.

My start is :

Kristina & ex-President Clinton - imagine their showdance - Marilyn Monroe and Pres Kennedy!!

Brian & Dame Tanni Grey Thompson - so Brian could highlight how wheelchair dancing should be performed, and Tanni is brilliant.

Vincent & Martina Navratilova His childish flirting would be pointless, and he might just have to grow up a little.

Brendon & Princess Anne She would really keep him in check, and instead of Brendon protecting her from Craig's comments (as he did with Jo Wood) Anne would probably end up protecting Brendon.

And just to get some eyebrows raised.........

Matthew & Graham Norton Same-sex dancing is huge worldwide, and about time it's introduced to Strictly.

Lilia & Robert Webb - I think they would make a great couple and Robert is an amazing natural dancer

Karen & Gordon Ramsay - watch the omelettes fly.

Aww. I hear Gordon may show up on DWTS. If they give him Karina Smirnoff omelettes and expletives will fly along with much eye rolling.

Gordon excels with F words,
does Karina have F omelettes to stop F words coming out?

Karina stood up to Slavik, so she is a match for anybody.

Ola and Prince Harry - she wants him as her Strictly partner, I'm sure he'd be game for a laugh and not a terrible dancer, and it'd be nice to see a more modern, different, fun and easy-going side to the Royal Family, or at least the younger generation of it!

Flavia and David Tennant - might not quite work height-wise, but he's hot and very popular, probably wouldn't be a bad dancer, and it's high time Flavia won the show!!!

Kirsty Wark and Brendan Cole

Big fan of Kirsty, she's turned it down once but think she could be a good dancer - try again BBC !

K.T Tunstall, also with Brendan Cole.

Like her music, saw her dance a bit on a music video, think she might make a dancer. Want to see singers on the show.

Keira Knightley and James Jordan.

Hot actress, quite tall, needs a tall partner.

Marai Filippov (Dancing on Ice) and Vincent Simone, natural dancer and likeable person, but maybe too good !

Lee John (ex Imagination) and Kristina Rihanoff

Beautiful, graceful mover, floated effortlessly, a bit like Astaire, might be the best male celeb ever on Strictly

Two more personal favourites.

Dita von Teese 5 ft 3 inches and Brendan Cole

Bad girl and bad boy. Actually I’m not sure that’s strictly true. I’ve seen Dita interviewed and apart from taking her clothes off she seems like a pleasant, sensible intelligent person. Like to see how she dances with her clothes ON. Just keep the champagne glass for the freestyle - well a man can dream...

Shilpa Shetty 5ft 8 ½ inches and James Jordan 5ft 11 inches.

She might be regarded as over-qualified for Strictly but I would like to see how an Indian dancer copes with western dances and she would be a nice mover whatever dances she attempted.

Well there would have to be George Clooney for me and just about anyone (let's say Natalie)

To add some humour David Mitchell and Lilia. Or Stephen Fry and Erin.

Also fancy having some of the less obvious 'celebs'.

So how about J K Rowling and Brendan?

And maybe a media savvy scientist, say Richard Dawkins and Kristina. Or perhaps Brian Cox would be a better prospect as a dancer.

And yes a same sex couple would be interesting.
