Sorry, but I'm confused now. I wouldn't watch SCD if any of the people you mention present the show (not that it would happen any way). Yes, we are talking about the return of the Sunday show on this thread, but my point is the BBC stopped pretending the Sunday show was live several series ago.

I must be having a blonde moment because I thought they were bringing back the Sunday show but recording it on Saturday and pretending it was Sunday.

If Tess gets the One Show maybe she won't be able to do everything and I was amusing myself imagining who they would wheel out. If they thought Little Ronnie was a good idea who knows who will be next.

Spoils the logic of the celeb's week too. If they have to have a run through on Friday and a show on saturday and another on Sunday the celebs either lose a training day or their one day off. As they only have 3-4 training days anyway that means no day off. Makes it more likely they won't get good people, more likely that the ones they get will underperform or be injured, puts up the costs and doesn't achieve anything significant that having the show on saturday wouldn't.

I loved sitting up waiting in anticipation for the spoiler - enjoying the banter whilst we waited for the result. The same crowd posted every week, all good fun and no nastiness.

I don't mind all the speculation about Bruce/Tess and the celebs - that's pretty normal for the time of year on here. But after the huge announcement about the dancing group, there has been very little other official news of the revamp. This makes me think more than ever that announcement was brought forward for some reason (leaks no doubt), but I wish we knew more about that.

It's the tinkering around (at the edges) that's the worst thing - either make wholesale changes or leave it be. But at the moment it's like the Hokey Cokey - they start with one format, change it, then revert back ......

Now, should my left leg be in or out at this point?

They can't have a live Sunday results show because that would mean the dancers and contestants working 7 day weeks (and that Sunday is often invaluable extra training time once the competition hits 2 dances per week), not to mention that's when the pros come up with their choreography.

I'd prefer it all to be on a Saturday, but if it is pre-recording for Sunday, then it's utterly ridiculous that Bruce doesn't do both when he's there already, I'd prefer he did neither but that's another thread altogether....

Claudia will be taking over Film 2010 in the Autumn from Jonathan Ross, so with her Weekly Radio 2 arts show, her Radio 4 quiz show and 5 nights on it takes two, I doubt she'd have the time unfortunately

i hope its live because ive heard that when it was pre recorded people find out on this forum and they say. i will be too tempted to look and if my favourite gets knocked out then i will be gutted for the whole day and it will put me in a bad mood !,

LOL! You heard right! Waiting for the result to be communicated to us on by someone in the audience is a lot of fun! There is a dedicated thread for this each week called the spoiler thread. Most if not all of us still watch the results show too!

I don't see how they can do a live Sunday Results Show unless it's without Len and Bruno as they have to catch a flight to Los Angeles on Sunday mornings to be in LA ready for DWTS which goes out live on a Monday. So they'd have to be in the studio on Monday and couldn't realistically fly from the UK on Monday morning. Unless Len has decided not to do DWTS this year and Bruno isn't doing Strictly. We'll just have to wait and see, but I strongly suspect that the Results Show would be recorded on Saturday after the main show and then shown on Sunday as they did a couple of years ago. What would be really fantastic would be to change the audience between the main show and the results show so there were more tickets available for the poor paying public who normally don't get a look in with all the ******* production guests every week.
