July 19
3OH!3: 'Streets Of Gold' Professor Green: 'Alive Till I'm Dead' July 26 Jedward: 'Planet Jedward' Tom Jones: 'Praise & Blame' August 2 Arcade Fire: 'The Suburbs' Travie McCoy: 'Lazarus' Looking at them i think Kylie and Eminem are gonna be knocking at the top 2 for a few weeks. |

Arcade Fire would get a #1 album if there was any justice! Wouldn't rule it out.
Plan B is still up there, and I think Aphrodite might be another album this year that continues to fall, until the next single. |

Remember some albums might return to the top with a new single release and there's always short term £3 bargains in HMV (which caused the Black Eyed Peas album to shoot from 40 - 3 in one week).
I'd say the top three will be Eminem - Kylie - Plan B for quite some time yet, though. |

I don't think anything is certain yet.
Arcade Fire have a pretty loyal fanbase and their last album did quite well in the charts (top 5 atleast I think). Professor Green's album has had some decent reviews and been getting some good coverage. Travie McCoy could also be a dark horse. 'Billionaire' has been getting a lot of airplay which could generate some buzz around his album. |

I haven't heard of Arcade Fire but they sound like an indie band (who always do crap)
Plan B will of course stay up thier but Kylie Defiantly isn't moving next week with her being on Alan Carr and Get Outta My Way and All The Lovers being sung live. Their first album Funeral is widely seen as a modern masterpiece.Anyway, as the lovely person above me said, their last album reached the top 5 (#2 in fact) and they do have a solid fanbase, so they should be on for the top 10 with their new one, but who knows whether it will trouble the top 2. They don't aim for commercial success, but they do deserve any that comes their way. As for Kylie, that tv appearance you mentioned (I wasn't aware of it before you said) should help the album, but I think it will start to fall shortly afterwards, until the next single starts to build momentum. |

Seeing as Funeral sold 466,000 and Neon Bible reached number 2 I wouldn't rule out Aracde Fire. 3Oh!3's last album only reached 77 and Jedward will be more a single seller imo, so the album shouldn't do much. Tom Jones is no longer popular. So the only ones I see going top 5 are Prof Green and Arcade Fire. Travie McCoy hasn't done too well in the international album charts such as US so I'd say top 20 at best.

Arcade Fire have to admit do look like the only guranteed number one album of the next few weeks, If they don't it might take Iron Maiden to topple Eminem/Kylie/Plan B

I think the way the market is going (people buying singles from Itunes more than albums) you need to get singles released more quickly than years ago. she could then release a 3rd single in the autumn to coincide with an XFactor appearance. |
