I've noticed in the last couple of weeks the box won't come out of standy automatically & won't record progs set to start while in standy by. Just hit the power button and it powers up no probs.

However while 'on', it records fine.

Has anyone else seen this?

Temporaily fixed by power cycle for 2-3 days then reappears.
I've disabled the auto-shut off.

I'll blame .23 as it didn't happen before the upgrade.

Is there any possibility you receive broadcasts from more than one transmitter. This is known to cause "accurate recording" schedule failures.
Again, Big-les has instructions to manually tune the PVR to ensure it stores only channels from one transmitter. Since your PVR would have done an automatic retune as part of the suggested defaults setting after the upgrade to .23 this could be the issue.

Or does the clock display the correct time in standby - or do you ever see it display --:--
Big-les has a cure (linked) for this scenario which avoids purchasing a replacement clock board from Humax.

No, only one transmitter, however it has just started flashing the --:-- time display....but that comes & goes.
Doesn't seem to be a common fault then, I'll do another default setting to see if that clears it.

This is a hardware fault and a default settings will not help. I suggest you sort this out now (I am pretty sure it will only get worse with time) by following Big-les's instructions in the sticky thread at the start of the forum.
