Neighbours and Home and away - Series Link

Hi All,

My wife sets our 9200 to record Neighbours and Home and away (afternoon programs) on series link.

Neighbours seems to record ok but Home and Away, which follows straight after is not working. The Humax has started changing the recording to one in the evening on Fiver.

When we check the recording schedule Home and away has changed to Fiver - permanantly.

I've checked to see if we have any "additional" channel numbers but the Humax is tuned correctly.

We have the latest version of the software and have done a full reset.

Deleting Neighbours and Home and away and then resetting the recording just does the same thing, it changes to Fiver.

Is this a Humax or Channel 5 thing?

Is anyone else sad enough to have experienced this? (only joking)

Thanks in advance

I think its because five uses the same episode I'D for the same episodes over all it's channels that show them.

Everyone does (or should) it's the only way the alternate recording offerings can be made when a clash is found. If they used a different programme crid and the same series crid then it would look like a different episode and both would be recorded

My wife had the same problem. My solution was to delete the FIVER channel.

Just don't use series link with any of the Five channels as the broadcasters just don't understand how series link is supposed to work.
