When using the BBC text service the screen will often go blank. The only way to clear it is to change to a different a/v input then change back again. Sometimes it happens as soon as the text loads but at other times it only happens when I scroll through pages.

The 9200T has software v1.00.23 and is connected to the TV by scart. However, I'm not sure if it's the Humax or the TV which is causing the problem. Or even the connection.

Is there a way to check which device is faulty?

Try connecting the scart-lead to the PVRs other socket.
This doesn't auto-switch so you will have to select the scart input on the TV remote manually.
You also won't get the higher-quality RGB signal through this connection.
But you will see whether or not the PVR is continuously displaying the correct image.

I'm not sure how that will tell me which device is faulty though? If it still happens after I change the scart connection will that confirm its the PVR at fault, or the TV? And conversely, if it stops occurring after I make the change how will that tell me whether its the PVR or the TV at fault?
