I've had my handset for a while running opera mini and until a few months ago I could access the Youtube website and it would open videos in the phone's media player and stream Youtube videos no problem. Even better when I enabled wifi.

Since about March time i've been unable to get this to work. Whenever I click on a video link it just reloads the page and fails to run the video. I don't get any error messages it just doesn't do anything.

I presume it's something to do with Youtube because everything worked fine before then and nothing's changed on my end but I can't work out if it's my phone that's not compatible anymore or Opera Mini or both.

I've download Youtube Mobile but it uses it's own interface which doesn't support full screen viewing in landscape mode like my phone's browser does. So watching videos is quite frustrating.

Does anyone know of this recent problem and know what may be causing the recent problems and whether there's a workaround so I can watch full screen Youtube videos on my handset?
