Hi all hoping someone can help

I dropped & smashed my Iphone I went and replaced the LCD & outer glass which seem to go fine, the only problem is now when the phone is upright the letter P & number 0 which are in the same place don't work ? would it be something ive done or should I complain to the people I bought it off ? I bought the LCD & outer glass separately from different people.

possibly a faulty digitizer (the glass bit) or it could be the connection isnt made correctly. check all the connections inside first, if no luck try a different digitizer.

Yeah sounds like a digitizer problem. Clean the connector on the logic board and the cable itself, and check that it's seated properly (it's easy to knock it out when reassembling) . It might just be a faulty part though, a replacement glass and digitizer should cost you just over a fiver on eBay.
