My jaw was also on the floor when i realised six really was going to dress like that each week.

I was at a school concert that night - most kids get taught, say, the recorder but I got the bl**dy xylophone - and, on the way home, my dad casually informed me that "the boy died".

The sphere opening in Army Of Ghosts to reveal the return of the Daleks was excellent as was the 'regeneration' at the end of Stolen Earth.
Classic Who - has to be the cybermen reveal at the end of episode one of 'Earthshock' - I was a stunned 11 year old, not having seen Cybermen ever!

My first suprises was

Ecclesston-series 1-Rose getting powerful after staring at the vortex-2005

Tennant-series 2 xmas special-Rose realising the dr was well

Series 2-Rose getting sweeped into the void

Series 3-the dr getting better after the master ages him and rasies again after everyone chants his name

Series 4-Donna metacrisies with the dr's hand then doing a great dt impression

specials-Runaway bride-suprised dt's dr like that screaming monster in a bride gown, I dont mean the raconess

Voyage of the damned-Kylie actually being a good actress

The next doctor-suprised it got any ratings , pretty crap in bits but David Morrisey was kool



Planet of the dead-good but not great, the four knocks scence was scary

Water on Mars-Adelaide killing herself was a shock

End of time-Bernard Cribbins can act was the suprise

End of time 2-Wilf being the four knocks very clever and the new dr making me laugh ax

Series 5-The new dr though rusty and still cooking has in bits been better that I thought and Amy pond and Rory being his best assistants yet
oh and Riversong being actually kool!
