does the 3gs have photo location on it ?

i have the iphone 4 and it shows with a red pin where in the country i took the picture, going through my friends 3gs we cant find an option for this

can anyone confirm it has this option

yes it does if your friend is on ios 4.0+. Go to albums and theres an option at the bottom 'places' that brings up the map of where they all taken
