It only took 10 minutes to come to the conclusion that it's definitely not for me.

But it's fairly obvious judging by the comments here that it's found an audience.

Enjoy.

I'm liking this. I've just started reading the books as well.

I do take it that the words on screen are describing the thoughts in his head and the messages/interfaces on phones that we can't see.

The shots are very CSI.

It does. If it wasn't for them Sherlock would have to be saying everything that he noticed so we could follow it.

The text on the screen gives a good angle on it.

Just the program I was thinking of! Very smooth, well-angled shots.

Not completely sold on Benedict Thingy's performance just yet - it reminds me too much of Matt Smith (who I adore) so far. But I am enjoying it. Loving Martin Freeman.

Could do without the text graphics though...

Oh, and the music is slightly too much for me.

But still, I'm liking it a lot.

I am actually loving this, was not sure before or even when it started but I have really warmed to it. Thinking of a different genre I actually think that Benedict Cumberbatch would be a good Doctor Who

I must say, it does feel like i'm watching Doctor Who, just without the sci-fi or aliens.

Not convinced by the acting of the Donovan woman.

His got that Doctor aura about himself - talking random gibberish to others, clapping his hands, hitting the head, etc...

She looks familiar, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't she the teacher on Waterloo Road - the hapless one?

I wonder if that is Moriarty? (sp?)

Oh I'm loving Benedict, I think he's fantastic. Shame about the comparisons with Matt Smith, but I guess with this being a Moffat production, that was also going to happen. They are a little similar, but then, they are similar characters aren't they.
