I was watching the news this lunchtime and was appalled about the owners of the cat that appeared on the credits of Coronation Street had sold his ashes (I think for around £700). The auctioneer said something along the lines of "It would make a nice cabinet display along with postcards showing Frisky with some of the cast"
(can't remember exactly what he said).
I couldn't imagine ever selling a pets ashes. I am only on my first cat (by force, not choice - she decided to move in with me
), and hopefully she will be with me for a few more years yet, but I would never, ever consider selling her alive, let alone dead.
Could you ever make money out of a dead fluffy mate?
