LG Viewty help - Broken camera switch.

The switch on my LG Viewty is broken. It's the one which changes it from photo camera, video camera or viewer.

I've had it two years so it's out of warranty. I don't use my phone enough to upgrade yet

Does anyone know if it's possible to switch between the three without using this switch or am I stuck?

I can't find anywhere in the menus to do it and it's currently stuck on video. It's be fine if it was stuck on photo.

If you touch the screen, you'll be able to get the "settings" page (look for a button with a picture of a cog on it) from there you should be able to switch the camera mode.
You can do it this way on the renoir so I imagine it would be the same on the viewty.

Anything which switches to the camera in the menu just switches to what it's stuck on - the video. The cog doesn't have the option to switch to the camera, either.

There seems to be no way to change it to photo without the switch

I wonder how easy it'll be to open the phone up and fix it myself. The screws are easily unscrewed.
