Can't believe Liliya and Matt have quit. I am sorry but this is the BBC fault, trying to change too many things.

These 2 have been on the show for ages and are two of the most liked professional's. They were moved to the dance troupe and that made Brian quit and now Liliya and Matt have followed suit. Its all wrong and the BBC are ruining Strictly.

Come of BBC, get your act together and stop trying to change too much of one of the most favourite shows on TV. Lets hope no one else decides to quit and they have some decent celebrities on the show this time.

Same. I'd probobaly say they are the most popular male and female pro's and now they are gone.

In a way I'm sorta glad that they've told BBC what they think about this dance troupe idea which was a stupid idea to start off with. Good on them for quitting instead of getting that stupid offer. The producers really are trying to ruin SCD.

Just read this, how sad. I can imagine that the pro dances are very pissed off with the way things are going. I would never have expected them to sideline Liliya of all people. I am sure that her husband doesn't wasn't to do it, but probably felt that they had to keep one foot in the door.

To think they are keeping on that awful Alesha and messing around with the pro dancers is a joke. And so far, not impresssed with the line up of so called 'celebs' either.

Oh yes forgot to say : and Alesha remains and her dance partner, Matt, who made her the champion is leaving - is very sad - and kinda sick

At the same time I'm looking forward to seeing Ian and Darren again, but Brian, Matthew and Lilia would've stayed if the BBC hadn't mucked it up.

What sad news, I really like both Liliya and Matt and honestly can't see why the producers felt the need to mess around with the pro-line up.

I was surprised to read that Darren is going to be staying, and I'm wondering if anyone jumped to the same conclusion I did about it but not sure I want to start idol gossip by putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

I don't know, but I won't be watching it any more. If plenty of other people do the same, they might just get the message.

Devastated Matt won't be on screen for CD this year, upset about Lilya but I understand their reluctance to sign this deal. I just hope the delay has created some kind of inconvenience (at the very least) for the BBC, which deserves all the flak it's got in this instance.

I love SCD but all my favourite professionals (Matt, Lilya and Brian) bar one (Ola) have left.

I don't think I'm going to bother this year. Plus X Factor looks like it's going to be dreadful this year so I might just have to get a life and go out on Saturday nights

The rumour about Lilia being pregnant may well have just come about because Darren will still be in the dance troupe.

But, without actually knowing the reasons as to why they have quit (apart from the reasons in the BBC Press Release) you have no basis for stating that it's the BBC's fault (if indeed it is anyone's fault, as they might have had other, quite separate reasons for not carrying on).

Why are people blaming the BBC when its obvious both want to focus on other areas of their careers, as stated at the bottom of the article. Baffling
