Nokia X6

Thinking of getting the Nokia X6 phone. Does anyone have it? What's it like?

It seems to have the same features of iPhone, but the Nokia one's cheaper and also has 5mp camera and bluetooth.

Can anyone recommend it?

Doesn't look too shabby but the performance would bother me a little.

My friend traded in his Samsung 360H1 for this and I was playing with it in work.

Seemed like a decent phone, does everything you'd expect. Was reasonably smooth and can connect to the Nokia App Store.

The screen is really nice, and the phone is attractive.

I had one, It has a decent camera and decent touch screen but thats all it has going for it. Its made of horrible creaky plastic and it doesn't seem to have enough ram to run the Symbian operating system, It often crashes especially the web browser, its not a bad phone but if you try and rush it or have more than 1 application open its prone to crashing, But yeah I liked it camera.

CPU is a slow older ARM.
Only buy if the deal is better than those for a decent spec Android phone.

Probably needs Opera Mobile for decent fast web browsing.

Depends what you mean by decent spec - pound for pound you could have an X6 for about the same as a Wildfire or X10 Mini. The X6 does have a lot more memory which would be a factor if you use the phone for music etc.

Of course the X6 is a lot cheaper than a Legend or Desire.

Yes some advantages with the decent screen compared to some of the budget Androids with a low res screen but faster CPU..
