I dislike Dave so much. This series is so excellent, I like nearly everyone, apart from him and Josie since the Caoimhe stuff.

Aww, yes, I love how Ben and Corin have fun together . I think they *get* each other and love each other for who they are. It's not a friendship of deep conversation as much, but it feels genuine - that they can trust each other? And I think fun is what's needed in that place . Happy stuffs - I'm a fan

I love them two together. Their friendship is real and they really seem to have fun together. Corin also is very warm and caring to Ben which helps so much when the other's are slating him, it shows just how genuine she is.

Ben and Corin have also stuck up for one another when another HM said something are out of order,

Ben is my favourite and I'd love him to win with Corin coming in 2nd. Having said that I won't mind if Corin won and Ben came 2nd.

Both deserve a place in the final!

I agree I love them both and would love them both to be in the final. They come from such different backgrounds but support each other all the way.

I liked her at first, I have to admit to wanting to put her under the patio for a while (I have bad ears....) But the blossoming friendship between these two might be the most real thing in the BB house this year!

A couple of HMs who consider themselves to be a bit intellectual have in the past disdained and nominated Corin for being 'uneducated' ill-informed or otherwise a bit shallow and vapid. To Ben's eternal credit, despite being patently better educated and more cosmopolitan none of this matters and he just sees in Corin the lovely warm-hearted lass that she is.

Similarly criticism has at times been levelled at Ben for being a pretentious 'posh boy' with a lack of community spirit and a penchant for moaning about his surroundings but Corin, whilst not averse to pointing out to Ben his flaws if prompted, appreciates him as an interesting and essentially good-natured guy.

The point with the Ben/Corin friendship is that they are very open and accepting of themselves and their different backgrounds and don't for one minute let ridiculous notions of snobbery, inferiority complexes or 'class prejudice' get in the way of being friends.

It's all rather admirable and sweet, IMO

Great post. I'm a die hard fan of both of these two, and love their relationship for all the reasons you have mentioned.
