The Bill last night - superb
Yes I know there's a thread, but are we really expected to keep ALL Bill discussion to one long-running thread?
Anyway, that was one of the best episodes I've seen all year, some great stuff between Sam and Phil and truly edge-of-seat stuff. Very moody and dark, and had a wonderfully scary atmosphere. Quite claustrophobic, too - it reminded me of Day Of The Dead or something lol. Speaking of the dead (I'm sure there's a pun there somewhere) - even the completely unrelated final part with Gabriel was rather good and quite scary itself, it was all very sinister. For once I actually almost believed in the character and Todd was ALMOST convincing. Say what you like about old troutlips Kerry, but hard not to feel sorry for her... Anyway, good stuff all round... |

Why didnt Sam see where that wooden ladder went that kept peeping into screen?
How did it take the "maintainence man" a mere two seconds to explain the whole lay out of the tunnels to SO19 ? Why did Jamie from Hollyoaks (SO19 commanding officer) decide he was going into tunnels that contained an armed man when he knew that he didn't have a clue about the lay out of the tunels as some had been demolished? Why didn't Sam try and get a signal on her mobile next to the grate in the roof? Or considering the noise the were making why didnt she try and attract attention through the grill? Why does Gabriel Kent think that he will get away with rape when he is a Police officer and know that forcing himself onto someone will leave tell tall signs ? Why was there so many big holes in The Bill last night? (or am I just cynical?) |

I enjoyed it too, in between trying to calm down my two year old. I thought the last scene with Kerry was pretty menacing and well done.
And there is no rule that says you shouldn't start new threads on The Bill. The more the merrier I say. Rudi |

And about time Gabriel raped someone too. Is there anyone left that hasn't raped or been raped yet on The Bill?
I believe there's an incestuous storyline coming up involving Phil Hunter and his daughter. Oh Mr Marquess, you astound me. |

![]() Ooops, perhaps I should have put [sarc] before that bit of the post. Just that I stopped watching the Bill about a year ago because I got fed up with all the gay, rape, incest, paedophile storylines. Happened to watch last night, and what's happening, another rape. Surprise, surprise. |

Does anybody think that Gabriel could be the serial rapist? The rapist was described as white, with brown hair and a medium build... wouldn't he fit that? There could be a link.

Well over on the other thread "Bill Spoilers Merged" it seems to be the general theory. I agree that it could be likely. |

But in the other cases, a knife was used and clothes cut, yet when he raped Kerry no knife was used. I think they will lead us to believe he is the rapist but it will turn out that he isn't.

Have to agree last nights episode was brilliant. There was definately some chemistry going on between Sam and Phil towards the end (especially as she covered his back by making sure there stories matched). But who could blame her, I know he is a bit of a bad boy, but he is well fit (well I think so anyway) Nice to see The Bill coming back with some excellent stories.
