Or what about:

DJ: You've just won a HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS!
Caller: Cheers. Thanks a lot.
DJ: (Pause.) Is that it?
Caller: What do you mean?
DJ: I mean, you've just won a hundred grand, you could at least sound a bit more excited.
Caller: Sorry. It's just all that whooping and cheering and stuff isn't really my thing.
DJ: Look,we'll do it again. This time, try and sound a bit more excited..
Caller: Well,I'll try..but I'm not promising anything...

In the past, the pre-recordings have been lost and the DJ has said that they cannot play the recording but the guesser did not win.

I think that might be my least favourite Christmas song. Either that or Shakin' Stevens.

Having said that I don't like any of them very much. I've nothing against Christmas,I just get fed up hearing the same records every year.

Oddly I quite like Saviour's Day. It's one of the few that's actually religious.

Same here, the problem being is that the Mariah Carey track is often overplayed once too many. However with Saviour's Day, its one of those tracks that you really do enjoy listening to and my Brazilian girlfriend actually enjoys it too.

Heat have already played the Mariah Carey track. I'm sure Heart will get to it in mid-November.

Well,that's a big help..

Next week's clue will probably be something like, "It's a British male in the entertainment business."

Who's on Heart really needs to be brought to a close soon, it's become so tedious. I wonder if it played a part in the London's stations RAJAR problems?

Have to laugh at those who moan on Facebook about £500 phone bills, as if Heart is to blame. It's like buying £500 worth of lottery tickets and complaining that you didn't win the jackpot.

Of course this crap pulls in listeners its as repetitive as its playlist and that's what people expect from Heart.

Week after it will be a British male in the entertainment business who isn't Welsh

Week after it will be a British male in the entertainment business who isn't from Northern Island

Week after it will be a British male in the entertainment business who isn't Scottish

Got to laugh at one of the promo's they play around 10 to the hour it say's along the lines of, you are fed up and we are fed up someone must win. If they are also fed up its gone on so long why not give some decent clues instead of 'British male' what industry would be a start, footballer, politician, singer ect

Yeah I thought I was hearing things when they played that, really funny.

Yes better clues are needed.

I don't think "British male" is a bad clue; there have been plenty of American celebrities guessed along with celebs of many other nationalities. I'm sure there will be more clues to come, but remember this is for £100k - I know it's been going on for months and we'll be glad to see the back of it, but seriously, there still needs to be some sort of challenge if you're giving that sort of money away. Were you honestly expecting, "oh the third celebrity played Harry Potter - £100,000 if you can work out who that is"?!

Another person guesses someone who's already been guessed. They need to do something about this why don't they just go to another caller don't put them on air if it's pre recorded ?

I have never phoned in,for two reasons: one,I've no idea who it is,and two,I don't fancy paying 48p a minute or whatever it is for the privilege, apparently the chances of getting through and on to the show are slim. However it must be frustrating if you have called a lot and never got through, and then somebody gets through and says an answer that's already been guessed. I mean they do keep saying, all the wrong answers are on the website, please check before you call that your name isn't there.

I would be interested to know how many calls they get every day,but I doubt they will be releasing that information any time soon.

It is quite funny that somebody's posted on the website that Heart should have the voices on their website,so that people don't need to keep phoning in and paying to hear them. But the voices have been on YouTube since the sixth of January, you can listen to them as often as you like, free of charge.

Presumably that person's never thought of looking on YouTube.

EVERYTHING is on YouTube.

Heart has no idea where its local stations are, the map on their website shows Heart Cornwall in Devon, Heart Devon (South West) in Bath and Heart Wiltshire in Bournemouth!

Then it quotes it's target audience as 25-44 with 41% in this age range, not very well targeted if 59% are outside this age range!

Well as it likes to think its national not knowing where individual stations are explains it. Its a shame the listeners haven't got better taste than putting up with a station as bad as Heart.
