The off-peak one minute news is recorded and shared with Smooth.

So, if you were a local business who wanted to spend money on advertising and see a decent return on your investment would you give your hard-earned cash to a professional, targeted brand backed up by official Rajar figures and demographic research or a few anoraks playing at radio stations and giving "shout outs" to their mates?

Why should advertisers "support" community radio? They have businesses to run. Nobody has the money to subsidise Dave Doubledecks and his big 12 incher - sorry anoraks!

Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier playing during Jason Donovan's All 80s, when the song finishes at about 21:13 there is about 30 seconds of silence before JLS - Beat Again starts playing for a few seconds. Then the show returns to normal.

With the number of Christmas records that are now being played,Heart has now become basically Sam Smith,Wham,Budapest,John Legend,Mariah Carey,Rude,Ed Sheeran,Band Aid,Slade,Sam Smith again,Happy,Olly Murs,Wham again,John Legend again,Mariah Carey again and Sam Smith again.

Well that what it sounds like if you listen to it for any length of time, anyway.

Although having said that on Saturday night they did play Girls Aloud's The Promise as part of the Time Tunnel,so we heard at least one decent record during the night.

Er, so the majority of shows aren't pre-recorded.

13 hours live, 11 hours pre-recorded by my reckoning.

I'd wager that's far more live programming than any of the BBC networks on Christmas Day.

I was listening this Sunday just gone and there was silence, the Take That's 'Rule The World' kicked in for around a minute or so! This would suggest 'All 80's' is pre-recorded

It is Friday evenings between 1900 and 2100, Saturday afternoons between 1700 and 2100 and Sunday evenings 1900 to 2200 are pre-recorded.

Sunday morning's between 6am and mid-day were also pre-recorded but thats no longer mention now so I assume the shows on a Sunday morning now broadcast live?

The Sunday morning show with Jenni Falconer is definitely live because she does that "text in and tell me what you're doing" thing.

Somebody always texts in and says they're milking the cows, and she always reads it out last: "And finally, yes, there's always one,(insert name) is milking the cows." Actually,I think it's quite funny,it always makes me smile when I hear it.

Although as per Heart rules, the location where the cows are being milked is never revealed.
