That would make sense but they did have a handover chat unless that's prerecorded too?

Just 1 one winner on Sunday's which is just before 12 with Margherita

I think they do the following

Monday to Friday 4 winners - 2 with Toby and 2 with Matt (Margherita this coming week) 10am, 12pm, 2pm & just before 4pm

Saturday 2 winners - with Toby 10am & 12pm

Sunday 1 winner - with Margherita just before 12pm

But Margherita is only on in London on a Sunday, not far that only London gets to play the competition on a Sunday, what about the rest of the country?

Sunday's comp is national, Stephen and Emma finish about 11.45am play a couple of songs then Margherita has the competition for 5/10 mins before ad break and Heart Local

Margherita is networked from around 11:50 on Sunday's to play the comp so everyone in the UK can take part

A 10 minute networked show, seems a bit pointless. Confusing for non London listeners that you just have her on for 10 mins.

Like I said yesterday Stephen and Emma's show is pre-recorded (http://www.heart.co.uk/public-file/london/) thats why Margherita is networked for the short time

How any one listens to heart is beyond me. The same records played over and over again. The most boring station ever.

I listen to Heart at work because where we are with an FM radio,it's the only station we can get with half decent reception. Listening to Heart is better than listening to nothing at all. Marginally.

The same records played over and over again is largely the way it is now in commercial radio. It has been discussed at some length on this thread. At any given time there is a list of artists and records they know their listeners like so they just repeat them endlessly. Anything that's a bit different or doesn't "test well" just won't be played, end of story,in case it frightens the horses and causes them to switch station.

Look at who's performing at the Brits - Sam Smith,Ed Sheeran,George Ezra,Taylor Swift and Take That. That's pretty much about half of the Heart playlist right there. Middle of the road singer/songwriter stuff seems to be very much the thing at the moment. Of those,I might go and see Take That if I got a free ticket. At least you'd get a bit of spectacle.

The rest of them,no thanks.

Bit pointless of that networking for 15 minutes they should put her on after Stephen and Emma

ofcom dictate that each station has 4 hours local programming .heart chose to have 12-4 so the competition has to be before then ...as previously stated 6-12 is pre recorded

So Heart doesn't bother with live network programming on a Sunday, if 6-12 is pre record, then 4 hours local, 3 hours of chart show, another 3 hours of pre record at 7.

When I listened the other Sunday Margherita did the competition for two-ish minutes (not the 15 mentioned) with a bit of a handover and also a chat when they promoted the competition earlier in the hour. It sounded quite seamless but I suppose some might find it odd - especially as Stephen presents game shows on TV.

Margarita is wasted on Heart, as her late night Classic FM show proves conclusively. It's about time she had a daytime slot on Classic FM.

I'm surprised Bauer or Radio 2 never snapped up Margherita Taylor for a daytime show? She's been at Global.Leicester Sq for some years on Capital then Classic and Heart.

From this summer new albums and singles will all be released on Fridays Radio 1 are now looking at moving the chart show from Sunday to Friday,

Is this something global could do? if they did they'd have to ditch something from the current schedule

4-7 isn't really possible as thats the regional drivetime could cause a few issues for them if they want to keep inline with radio 1

It doesn't effect the I Tunes chart.

They won't swerve it, they'll just lie low until the storm passes and hope to get away without any comment at all. You've got more chance of seeing the Loch Ness Monster than a post from Cut 6 on this thread at any point today. Although I'm happy to be proved wrong...........
