What are you expecting the "yes men" to come on here and say exactly?

I've been on here for a couple of years, and I think the newsreader who made an honest and embarrassing slip up is not the pathetic one!

Constant moaning about Heart but guess what, the station hasn't changed! For your own sanity press that little switch which says "off" or "scan" and find another station.

Think how that newsreader is feeling? One of the biggest stories of the year, she makes one mistake and corrects it, and all people on here can do is call her 'pathetic'. Yes bitch and whine about how you don't like global, although It is tedious and immature, but spare a thought for the people working at the local/regional level.

For people who campaign for local radio, spare a thought for those who are actually still working outside of London.

Matt and Caroline cover a much larger area, the whole of Devon (pop 1M) and Cornwall (pop 0.5M).

That's EXACTLY why it should have been delivered correctly!

If you can't be prepared and professional when reading out the biggest breaking story of the year, then its time to give up!

While we are talking about mistakes - what's your opinion on the 6Music Jeremy Hunt slip up the other week?

I don't mind tom Campbell on heart northeast in the car on the way home he's quite upbeat, although normally like a bit of talk sport, until adverts then it's scan scan scan for a decent song.

Prepared and professional? Was she laughing through it, or after it? Was she playing comedy sound effects? No! She's human, made a mistake and corrected herself.

And it's sad that you say it's time for her to give up! Like I said before, hate global as much as you want, but this is a PERSON you're telling to quit her job over one word. I don't know what your job is, but would you quit if you got one word wrong?

Having said that, if everyone you didn't like quit it might finally pave the way for you to get a job with Global! You sit and listen to stations you apparently can't stand, talking day after day about them. Keep dreaming buddy, your big break may come one day!

You REALLY have no idea about me, have you?

Still, if you think a gross and shoddy error like this is acceptable, you must have immensely low standards regarding what makes for quality broadcasting!

I REALLY have no idea about you. Should I? Get over yourself, it's not gross nor shoddy not 'immensely low standards' it was one mistake. Where you telling the 5 Live reader to 'just give up' when she said that North Yorkshire (not North Korea) had started testing nuclear weapons?

Heart in the Westcountry changes this week with Leigh Jones taking over Heart Devon Drive & Saturday afternoons from Olivia & Matt Young respectively. Heart Gloucester & Wiltshire have a couple of new weekend presenters to replace Leigh

Or buy their music.

I always think it's odd when somebody dies and then their albums start selling. Who are the people that buy them? "Oh, yes, David Bowie, I was never much of a fan, haven't got any of his albums, but I think I'll go and buy his Greatest Hits now he's dead, because he was National Treasure and all that."

it does not greatly surprise me that Heart started playing Bowie songs after he died. Hey, a great artist that we never play has died, so we'll stick a few of his songs on the playlist for a few days to remind everyone how great he was. But not great enough that we ever played any of his songs when he was alive. (Except Let's Dance occasionally.)

Since our nightshift acquired a half decent digital radio a few months ago, our stations of choice are Absolute Radio, Absolute 80s, Absolute 90s, Heat, Planet Rock, Magic and Gold. We usually listen to one about half the night and then switch over to something different for the rest of the night.

We have never once listened to Heart.
