Anyone know why Scotland get's "Scotland's Heart" jingles, while Wales just gets the normal "This is Heart" Jingles?

But I dont think 2pm - 7pm will be right. I would guess Paul and Lynne might be on from 2 - 6 followed by Mark Wright.”

Monday in Scotland is as follows

6am Robin Galloway

10am Rich Clarke Feel Good 50

2pm Paul & Lynne

6pm Club Classics with Mark Wright

10pm Lucy Ellis

Wales's Heart would sound a little clunky, but I assume it's because of Scotland being the awkward squad who didn't take immediately to Heart, and stronger competition up there.

Usual playlist then!

Just been catching up on this thread for the first time in a while - and the debate relating to the schedule page on the website. Those who argue 'normal' listeners rarely give two thoughts to who is on, especially on a heavily formatted station like Heart, are of course right. The vast majority of listeners will never go anywhere near a schedule page. Or a playlist page.

However.....

If they are important enough to be on the website in the first place, they are important enough to be kept up to date and accurate. Either make the effort to ensure they are right, or just delete them off the site so nobody at Global HQ has to bother. The playlist page hasn't been touched for weeks. Ellie Goulding's 'Army'?? Frances' 'Don't Worry About Me'?? Nathan Sykes 'Give It Up'?? That IS shoddy for a company of Global's size, regardless of how many hits the page gets. Get it right or bin it off. Simples.

They have potential to be, but it's sadly just someone who sounds the same as all the others from London, talking about the same stuff no proper local content. I wish these proper local radio stations hadn't been globalised. Ofcom shouldn't allow it to happen. They're doing 1 minute news for the sake of it, mostly national anyway. Just to get in Ofcom's good books.

It's the same with the likes of Celador and other companies who come along, and network the majority of their output with not even the slightest bit of good quality local content, stealing local advertising money and wrecking good, proper local stations like 2TEN FM, Ocean, Power, Real Radio, Juice, Kestrel and loads of others.

HitMusic is right, sadly people don't actually care and don't have anything to care about anymore.

Not sure if I was hearing things last night, but during Jason Donovan's show, the first sweeper out of the news at the top of the hour had an additional "from Global" tacked onto the 'This is Heart' bit ...

Haven't heard it today, nor on any quick listens to Smooth or Gold..

Is this more Global branding being introduced ?
