Does the Cornwall content definitely come from Exeter?
Global appear to still have a unit at St Agnes which is where the former Atlantic FM broadcast from, would indicate to me that it's a large space if they're just using it for sales/news.

Although photos suggest they aren't particularly big units.

Don't they have some sort of input studio at St Agnes?

I remember watching a show following Nick Clegg in the build up to the General Election and it showed him in Cornwall going into a studio at Heart to appear with Nick Ferrari on LBC. I don't think it showed much of the studio, the office did look small.

Oh dear glad I don't listen to heart anymore. I know playing the sane songs over and over is apparently great radio but I disagree especially when it comes to the older songs. Heart could be so much better but sadly not although of course rajar says different.

Ok for Xmas eve or day but surely you introduce them gradually with 1 or 2 on 1st Dec not a whole hour on the school run, how do you then explain to a 5 year old it's still 3.5 weeks away?

Smooth has started playing them already and the schools have started teaching the kids the christmas songs so I think the kids will be fine.

Not gonna happen. Heart is a national brand with regional outstations. Heart wants to be national not local. There is no money in being a local station.

100% agree with you, same for there sister station Capital, Ashley likes national brands, 2017 will be a very interesting year for both brands, plus with deregulation on the horizon I'm sure they would love to drop local opt outs.

I think that will be a good chance because Wales and Scotland could just have 1 local show to keep Ofcom happy.

I cant see them scrapping both local shows in Scotland as they have just recently brought in a new co presenter for the drive time show

They may have just the one show and scrap the rest as some presenters have 3 month trail contracts.

They could keep the drive time show, but maybe move it to 1pm.

Hope so, As you travel around the Uk you can hear just hoe weak the heart locals are. Some are pretty dire. Heart London drivetime is streets ahead of the other heart locals, Which is poor consistency.

Nothing to do with contracts, If Gloal want someone off the air they will just pull them off no matter how long their contract has got to run.
