To be fair JK and Lucy would normally be breakfast presenters on any other station but because its london there on Drive time.

There will not be one show across Wales as Heart North Wales is owned by Communicorp and Heart South Wales is owned by Global. I would imagine Commuicorp will still need to produce local output as they are another company. Same with Heart in Yorkshire which is owned by Communicorp and will still need to produce local content.

Very true, In my opinion I think they are better than Jamie & Emma, But Global insist of having celebs on their London breakfast shows. But hey I get to listen to them for 3 hrs instead of around 30mins in the morning due to lack of time.

I was thinking about this as well, but it will be interesting to see what happens when deregulation happens.

I never knew that but thanks for telling me now I know why Global axe staff without giving them a final show.

Not much difference between Jamie and JK both mediocre ex R1 DJs who never made it big like the more talented presenters of their era (Moyles, Scott Mills) so had to revert back to local Radio and Heart.

I think they were probably more versatile, had other careers alongside radio and of a different era if you actually construct obvective thought to it.

I don't think you can lump Scott Mills (ex Heart) and Moyles in the same boat as JK and Jamie - especially if you're throwing in the word mediocre to boot.

Disagree all 4 were developing their careers on R1 in the early to mid 00s on R1, Moyles and Mills were a success promoted to R1's two biggest slots.

The other 2 failed to succeed at R1 so got demoted to local radio on Heart.

James Heart Kent Breakfast?

Sian Is a TV and Radio Broadcaster and heart cover presenter.

I guess Global do this to get listeners to know the local presenters too. Rich Clarke is well established on both London and South. Is James Merritt not avilable now unless they are doing a few shows over the festive period,?

It be nice to get Tom Evans and Nicola Hummes from Sussex Breakfast so some London cover work?

I guess they still need to put a safe pair of hands and well known presenters like MT in prime spots. See all females in the schedule from 1am today until the big top 40 at 4pm.
