Assume Ring Roberto wIll feature somewhere on Christmas Eve or Fri 23rd
Past few years they had it on Christmas eve

If they do it again this year they could have it from 18:00 to 21:00 or 19:00 to 21:00 before Mark Wright takes us into the 25th

Whats Ring Roberto?
It's where people phone up and 'request' songs and Roberto plays them. Which basically means phone up, get told to request a cued song, and pretend you want to hear it even though you've already heard it 3 times before on Heart that day.

Ok, this is what I FAIL to understand.....

I know this is a forum for the radio "geeks", and i'm probably one of them.........

However, if you are such an enthusiast of radio, why the Fukc would you be remotely bothered about a station that plays 12 songs on a loop?

I notice even the "apologists" have deserted / been told to abandon ship / CBA [delete as applicable}

Jeeeez!

It is one of life's eternal mysteries why so many people who profess to hating Heart and all it stands for seem to have an intricate knowledge of everything it does.

It's more to do with the fact that posts like this aren't worthy of a serious reply. Post like an adult and you'll get some interaction.

Win before they sing competition is just so simple yet so bloody brilliant. Love tuning in at top of the hour to hear it, Makes me feel so good when I play along. Competition doesn't run long enough though unlike Whos on heart ( Which im dreading returning in the new year).

I do agree with you, Who's On Heart was alright when it first started, but they're always bringing it back and it gets so irritating after a while. In 2014, wasn't the competition running from January through to November? Far too long for an on air competition.

The idea behind Win Before They Sing is a rip off of 'Beat The Intro' and a very old idea, but I do agree it works much better and is great fun to play along with. I'm surprised it's not one of their breakfast show games. On Heart Thames when Matt Brown was on with Michelle, they used to do 'The Golden Thingy' where a listener would come on and if they got 8 GK questions in 30 seconds they'd win a 'Golden Thingy'. Unless you won it, you'd have no idea what it is.

Matt and Caroline is South West. Noticesl West Mids announced 'exciting news' on who will replace Rach where as south West didn't add exciting and just said we'll announce someone in coming weeks

Sian isnt good enough to be on the network, Maybe on one of the out stations but not good enough for Heart London. Sounds like a robot and clearly writes out her links and just reads them out.

Agree. Didn't she used to work in Topshop or Primark or somewhere?

Shes been around on TV for years (Weather, Health Lottery) So I just don't understand why she presents so badly. But then that's Heart for you, Having this obsession with just hiring anyone from TV to present.

It's available on the Heart app as a LA. Sounds like she started the news bulletin (as it's not live) at the same time as the news intro, followed by the TOH. It sounds like Sian then skips to the next track (the news bed).
