False alarm from the other week! Fiona Sadler was missing from the Heart FM Wirral page, and so I thought she had left. She is on today and might have been on holiday then. It was her birthday on Friday March 30th and, while she did broadcast on Imagine FM that day, she may have had a well-deserved birthday weekend off.

Fi is on Heart FM Wirral as I speak. Mind you, as she left Imagine FM on Friday I wonder whether she has been promoted to Heart FM full-time?

Margaretta Taylor is presenting Breakfast this weekend from 6-8am (9am) in London and also covering for Toby on Friday morning. I think it will be only a short time before she gets a daytime network slot.

Also i have heard a rumour Luke Smith (ex Capital) is coming to Heart shortly. I wonder if that is on the network or on a local slot?

Margherita is on early breakfast this weekend (is it early?) Is this a permanent move now?

It seem Margherita is covering Nick Snaith 3rd and 4th May whilst Nick is covering for Toby. I think there will be a schedule change soon. Emma and Jason could well be faded out?

Matt is in for Simon on 30th too.

Luke Smith presenting Heart Oxfordshire drivetime from next week - any ideas where Tony Shephard is off too?

Tony is on Sussex and Surrey Drivetime.

Luke Smith is doing Bank Holiday across some of the Heart stations on Monday and Tuesday 6-9am and Margherita Taylor is on from 9am.

Thought Luke would appear on the network before long, i wonder how long it will be until he is given a regular show on the whole network and wonder what show would suit him the best?

Heart needs a day time female presenter like when Emma B used to present London drive time.

i try to avoid any radio stations with Heart in the name. On indoor fm radios, its the only non bbc station in this area. thank god for dab.

Next Sunday between 6 and 8 on Heart, Roberto is doing a show.

I'm assuming it's the same guy who left Capital not so long ago? This week it was Luke Smith doing that slot (also ex-Capital).

It sure is him! Luke not as high profile as Roberto though. Listeners wouldn't even remember who Luke was.

Difference here is Luke now presents Drivetime on Heart Thames Valley but Roberto is not on regularly on anywhere.......yet?

Anyone been listening in the Banbury area to their 97.4 transmitter , as its in mono , the 102.6 Oxford transmitter is fine ?

I would wager the Kilostream has fallen over and they have resorted to ISDN to feed the TX.

Roberto is 6-9am on Heart London but 6-8am across the network.

I believe the Heart studios in Leicester Square are getting a refurb to bring them in line with the new Capital ones.

I don't think Heart's moving though, unlike Capital which moved from one end of the 3rd floor to the other.

I didn't mean moving although he says they're moving to 4B I assume while it's refurbed.

At a guess between 25 and 30 - not all are on air though, many are used by producers for imaging and commercial production.

Nice. I know there's a couple of "backup" studios which any of the stations can move into should the need arise.
