The south coast station did local news at 12.00 today and when coming back from Norfolk four counties and Watford had local news.

No, all Hearts do local weekend bulletins between 8 and 12 I believe.

Took a trip in London yesterday, armed with my DAB/FM personal radio and was very surprised to see how good DAB was in the capital. To say how cheap the set is, the reception in the West End, with all the buildings around, was solid. Heart was strong leaving the capital much further than out than 106.2. DAB was good to go until Toddington Services.

Its the on air output that matters, not what equipment you have in the studio...I mean when you can only do a few links per hour and play endless back to back music how much equipment do you need!!!
