JK and Lucy is a great move, brilliant duo and bring a show alive. On the Mark Wright presenting CC , this will be amusing. Will Steve Allen over on LBC going to be told to stop insulting Mark ? Surely Global won't allow a staff member to insult another staff member on air ? be a shame if they do as i think Steve's insults towards him are pretty funny. Its a similar thing to the spice girls that he gives a good slating now and then to, he makes a lot of funny comments about all of them except Emma as though he has been told not to.

I think JK & Lucy took over Weekend Breakfast on Wirral and North Wales from Fiona Sadler when she joined Key 103. What will happen to the Weekend Breakfast Show now?

JK and Lucy have presented the networked Saturday breakfast since August (I believe) whilst Fiona Sadler left a little later to join Key 103. Rachael Howarth replaced her and is on from 1-5pm. Weekend Breakfast Show(s) stay the same.

So will Myleen be doing any shows in the new year or is it just a xmas special ?. I think she will sound good on heart as a regular.

Mark Watson who was on overnight last night, is he a new addition as well or does he present a local show on one of the Heart stations?

During these Party Classics/Club Classics show, Heart sounds like a different station. Sometimes.

What just happened on the network? Silence followed by Lionel Ritchie then cut into adverts. Not back up audio because it affected Solent and T Valley as well as Ha,sphere DAB which doesn't have back up music.

It's RDS is now _HEABT__ there is no TP and there has been breaks in transmission. The traffic has not been working for a while but the dead air and PS is a new one. Also my RD49 won't go into stereo. I've never seen any Tx fail so spectacularly.

Edit: it is in stereo but the RD49 removes the St and RDS indicators when it shows the PS for some reason.

Edit2: sounds like a fault with the link between Segensworth and Fort Widley.

I listened to Mark Wright on Saturday, I thought he was pretty good actually, he was actually a lot more genuine than Steve Denyer who followed him.

is he voice tracked though? As he's only on for 2 hours, I was listening to it as well, and he sounded ok.

No they can't as it's National during the day. Only reports in the News.

Was on the way home from near Horsham, West Sussex back on the 30th in the evening, so a couple of days after your observations above.

Our route back to Somerset took us down to the A27 and ultimately the M27 before coming off at the junction with the A36 for Salisbury.

I also noticed the apparent typo in the RDS PS code while approaching from the Bognor Regis direction. So either by then they still hadn't fixed it or it was suffering a relapse!

I guess if it's a problem at the TX site itself, at that time of year, unless it's a complete loss of service / failure, I doubt anyone would have been in too much of a hurry to sort it out. Which is quite understandable.

It's a shame, i seem to remeber they have inserted extra travel bulletins after the news during the daytime during snow before.

Heart Thames Valley drive are doing their best to be local, poor Michelle Cross sent out onto the edge of a motorway to read the news. She sounded freezing and you could hear the wind. The best bit was the way she said "right now, its 1 degree here... you're up to date on heart".
