The latest early segueway. Can you please stop spoiling every Heart/Capital thread with these ridiculous posts, you keep promising to stop only to post them again the next day, despite numerous complaints from forum members. You're annoying far more people here than are bothered by Dirty Dancing having 5 seconds shaved off it on Heart at 3am. |

Why are Heart using Ed and Rachel to cover? Have they got higher ratings than others?

Request show on Heart with Roberto now: Is these requests for real? It seems to be people going for songs in the playlist. Surely this is not legal?

I'd also ask to make sure they play it IN FULL, and dont hack the endings off. A full list of bad segueways (and corresponding songs) can be found at http://www.mixcloud.com/spotify95, so it would not be recommended to go for any of those songs! |

They always do that; I heard that with Ring Roberto; all they do is request Heart playlisted songs. Maybe they say whilst on the phone that they can only request a Heart-playlisted song?

Surely that's not much of a choice? I mean the whole point of a request is playing something you have not heard in ages not a song you heard at 2pm.

You forget that the average time for each listen to the radio is around 20 minutes.so they probably didn't hear it at 2pm.

Of course they are only going to go with the requests that fit the brand. What kind of idiot would assume any different.
They have a clearly defined brand, a sound that they work hard to keep to. Why start playing bizarre tracks the audience won't know just because some fool on the phone from Frome wants to hear it?!?!? They also have their positon amoungst the Global brands to consider. The requests can't be too much Capital or indeed too much Gold/Smooth either. Sometimes I dispair at folk on this forum making an issue out of things that are obvious!!!!!! |

And I'm definitely aware that they fix the requests. Why request a Heart playlisted song that you've heard already a lot of times? I wonder how many people have gone in and requested something that isn't Heart playlisted - i.e. the latest 1D song?
