Unfortunately he's been a bigger impact doing Tours as he seems to be on Twitter a lot or someone else is writing it? Nothing else big in the charts since 'Impossible'. As X Factor is nearing it's final stages it seems yet again the big winner of 2012 is on it's dying legs until the new one is revealed for 2013.

It seems Heart want to promo North Of England bringing down Ed and Rachel for the day instead of using their own London team to cover?

The screen in that image, posted this morning, shows the time as 5:08 and looks to me like the date is Thursday 28th September?

How come the Public File only states Friday evenings 7-9pm and Saturday afternoons 5-9pm as pre recorded? http://www.heart.co.uk/london/public-file/london/”

A bit of an embarrassment. Could Ofcom start getting them to say 'this show is recorded so don't text or email '- as the BBC were rapped over this some time ago?

Could it just be that they pre record the programme sometimes rather then getting cover presenters in?

I don't think Stephen and Emma show in that time schedule will be on for much longer.

Couldn't agree more there. All he has released is "Impossible", which IMO, is a poor copy of Shontelle's version (Shontelle sounded much better) and that's it for virtually a whole year. It's boring, and despite the sales, still isn't any good IMO. I'd rather buy Shontelle's version any day. JA's version should no longer be played on any station.

Nothing else big in the charts since 'Impossible' as he hasn't released anything since. His new single 'You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You' is out on October 20th with his debut album due for release on November 4th. Think it's a bit early to be writing him off Occy!!

A quick comparison here: How many copies did Shontelle sell, of her original version? I have yet to find out the answer...

That will say which is best. Having said that I would rather have the original version (by Shontelle) any day, her voice sounds so much better!

I heard that today, for the first time, on commercial radio. I have to say that I wasn't impressed in the slightest. Still as dreary as "Impossible". No doubt the millions will buy it though.

I have heard it too some while. Wasn't over impressed. Hey ho his fans will climb mountains to stay loyal.

It's common for the winner to have a big gap between that winning single and the album. A very quick look on everyhit.com shows me that was the case for Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke as well as Leon Jackson (not the most successful though!)

I read something as well that they were holding off on his album so they could debut the first performance of the single on the X Factor.

Ed and Rachel present in the West Midlands which isn't the North of England.

What's everyone thinking about the new music idents now airing across the Heart network?

Horrible. After every bloody song we get a heart ident. Yes I know I'm listening to heart but do I have to hear it after every song NO. I am not listening anymore it does my head in.

Sorry you're not a fan, they were designed to connect more with the music that Heart plays and aren't (IMO) as intrusive as the previous batch.

Heart Breakfast has also changed, with the breakfast host names removed at the top of the hour (still remain at x30 past the hour).

Really? The one that sold the most is the best? The one that sold the most was more popular, but not always the best.

That's what I meant. The original, by Shontelle, is the best imo. But James Arthurs copy sold more. Even though he can't sing imo

Are they the ones that played in August? I heard them and thought they were good, but I can't find a copy of them online (whereas the jingles are online).
Having said that they'll still probably be cutting the songs ridiculously short. So I haven't listened since august.

As was the case before. That hasn't changed. 'TV Crazy' is referring to the imaging which has been freshened up from today.

Oh and pretty much every commercial station ID's after song. It's not a 'Heart Thing'.

Is it me, or do Heart have new imaging, and dropped Anna Butterfield as the female v/o?

Thanks guys point taken. Heart does look better. Maybe its just the dreaded voice over that does my head in after every song.

The original sold 1.2 million to date.

Not al all, as with all X factor winners, their debut album and next single are always released in winter months. His next track released on 20th oct and album 4th.

We have also had huge success of 1D, little mix and Cher Llyod in the states. HUGE SUCESS.
