The thing is, these radio stations are only designed for workplaces and a certain demographic. Until the figures start dropping off then action will be made.

At least the Bristol one isnt annoying unlike the London one. Stephen and Emma are annoying and JK and Lucy are not funny. Can understand why people kill each other there.

Heart have got new jingles too. Maybe they got the whole package from On The Sly?

As an aside T.Anstis is playing D.Punk and I think I'm gonna get a ridiculous segueway in the next 2 minutes
So you are still listening?

I was following this forum and wanted to hear how these "new jingles" were different to the old ones. But unfortunately whilst I heard the jingles one of them went straight into Daft Punk, and then a dodgy segueway appeared...

So in effect, I listened for ONE DAY ONLY to see how the jingles had changed. But what was going to be a 5 minute listen (for the jingles and idents) turned out to be a full-blown segueway monitoring session! Grrrrrrrr

Luckily most of the time I have been listening to Capital going to/from the university (from train station to uni and vice versa) and Spotify at home and on the train.

It'll be nice to have Joel covering London again?
I remember when he covered for Roberto whilst he covered the breakfast show and the response wasn't too good.

I personally wasn't too keen on him

Yes they sound more subtle to me, and not as harsh. It's the first time the jingles have been changed since the Heart rebrand in 2010!

If their segueways were just as smooth and subtle as their new idents we'd be on a winner here

When did these new jingles start? Can't say I've noticed them! Then again I usually only listen to Heart first thing on weekday mornings.

The new jingles and idents started about a week ago or so. I don't know the exact date as I'm not a regular listener.
I just pop in when Toby is about to wreck something

Thanks for the info Gavin_D I thought it was recent but didn't know when

I know that IQ Beats put their jingles online for others to listen to - will On The Sly do the same?

Stephen Mulhern is on his own this morning, as Emma is on holiday. Is this the first time he's done it alone? I thought in the past they've got him a co presenter?

Anyway, it does sound like he is live as he keeps asking for people to tweet or comments on Facebook and then reads some out.

It was announced this week that Stephen is to front a new Sunday morning show for ITV, but they've given no start date for that. I wonder if he will leave Heart or they'll shuffle it around (as people are still saying Jason Donovan is coming back).

Not sure if he's done the show on his own before.

I'm wondering if some shows are live and some are pre recorded depending on other commitments

I can see another re-shuffle coming later this year once Jason returns

Stephen's new live ITV show Sunday Side Up has not got a start date yet but once this starts they'll either pre-record the Sunday breakfast of he'll leave all we know so far is the new ITV Sunday line up will be 2 hours long

It might be the last of Stephen and Emma. Unless they move to Saturdays?

Did they play the whole of Black Box or cut it into the delayed ad break?

More shoddy broadcasting by the Heart team! Oh dear indeed!

Are you ever going to stop whining; you're more repetitive than the heart playlist!

And that heart playlist is very repetitive indeed! We need some new songs!

And we need proper broadcasting, none of these "delayed ad breaks" where you hear silence and auto play, and definitely no dodgy segueways!
