Have Heart on all day in the background. Done the survey. Could have been taken from my iPod.

Yeah, Global have got it all wrong! No wonder Heart's not very successful. It's targetting the wrong listeners! These are the sort of people the advertisers want...

You forgot the bit about "they know where to shop to get the best anoraks!"""

I didn't say that. All stations like to dress up the spending power of their audience to impress advertisers, the danger is when people like yourself take it too seriously.

In fact the audience profile in question sounds very much like a significant segment of the Radio 4 audience, a station which is extremely popular amongst the same grouping.

A good example of the problems with stereotyping people, as I'm none of the above.

The Guardian having a pop at Heart today...

I think we're clutching at straws somewhat if we think that's "having a pop at Heart". Surely it's taking more of a pop at previous Eurovision entries sounding like they belong in times gone by?

No JK on heart London for the next few days so it will be Matt Wilkinson and Lucy Horobin this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon, JK is due back Saturday morning

What is the point of the heart music survey as it's just rating the music they currently play, not giving listeners a chance to rate songs they don't normally play and could play if listeners rate them high. I gave up after 6 songs ZZZZZzzzz

Counting the days Heart North West and Wales becomes Capital... The signs on the Gwersyllt studios in Wrexham were falling off even before the Capital format change was announced, as ridiculed by the breakfast team...

No one is sure yet. The "e" and "a" from the Heart logo fell off ages ago and they've never got round to fixing it. Quite funny when you drive past it!

According to Radio Today, Nick has left Heart completely, Matt is taking over his programme and Margarita takes over Matts show.

Yes his name has gone from the Presenter list. Wonder if he'll pop up on some other Global Station in Leicester Square?

Shame the two new appointments weren't the other way round.

Margherita is deserving of a far higher profile slot than 4am!

Quick Exit for Nick there. I wonder if he is off to a local show on Smooth?

Nick will turn up on the new station probably, heart time tunnel or whatever it might be called. Still the new station will be just as boring as the new smooth with 300 songs on shuffle 24/7.

Was Nick Snaith axed or did he quit? Why don't local commercial stations ever let departing presenters have a 'goodbye show' ? It's always so sudden and undignified when they're let go.

Maybe he is going here?

In the January 2014 Ofcom Radio Broadcast update, Global Radio has also been granted permission to add a new station to Digital 1 National DAB Mulitplex, with an unconfirmed name, playing music from the 70s, 80s and early 90s with particular appeal to audiences aged 35-54.

Doesn't sound like he's left to go to one of the local Smooth's to me. Sounds like he quit and was told to leave immediately.

That's what I assumed rightly or wrongly, if he was staying in the "Global family" he wouldn't have just gone like that surely..you never know these days but....
