Can't receive emails on iPhone 3GS AND on my PC

Hi there, hope someone can help with this one.

I had a blackberry up until a few days ago. Everything worked fine with email.

Now I've upgraded to an iPhone 3GS.

The problem is I cannot receive the same emails on both the phone and Outlook on my PC. If Outlook is open, an email sent to my address goes in to Outlook but does not duplicate on to my phone. The same the other way around too, if Outlook is closed, then my phone receives the email but it doesn't download in to Outlook when I next boot it up.

I've checked the settings on the phone and on Outlook - both are set to not delete email off the server.

Any ideas what's up?

Can't you use IMAP instead of POP3 with whoever is hosting your mail? Then you wouldn't have a problem.

I hope so, what settings would I need to change to do this?

That entirely depends on who is hosting your email and whether they support IMAP.
