Now I am not a huge Kylie fan but bought Aphrodite this weekend after all the reviews.

OMG!!! After the second listen I can say that all tracks are amazing. Kylie has pulled something amazing out of the bag with this one,

Def contender for album of the year!!

I only like 3 songs on it and it's one of my least favourite Kylie albums but I'm still a fan of hers (have been since the 80's) and I hope I prefer her next album more. At least I have all her back catalogue to still enjoy!

Better Than Today, Aphrodite and Closer. I think they're really good songs, with strong catchy melodies. All the rest I just find a bit bland and dull, nothing grabs me about them. They're all just in one ear and out the other. But all down to personal taste of course!

I love it as well. I know a lot of people weren't great fans of 'X', but I loved it. Didn't think it could top that but it sure has, for me anyway. I like all the songs, which is very rare!

IMHO this is the true follow up to Fever, I feel general consensus on that album is there wan't one dud on it and the same goes for this one. To me Body Language and X were more concept albums which didn't really have a distinction or direction in mind and Miss Minogue has openly admitted that. Aphrodite is a lovely, warm and happy return to form for our lovely diminutive lady. The one thing I like is her music is aging beautifully just like she is (albeit with a bit of stuart price/botox help). All in all a fantastic album and so far my beat of the year!

It's really refreshing when artists listen to feedback from critics and fans, can admit that the music wasn't right on their last albums and do something about it, producing a great album as a result.

So kudos to her! I love the album too, especially Get Outta My Way and Aphrodite.

I actually have to stop myself playing it now or I'll be sick of it in no time at all. Woke up singing Everyting is Beautiful this morning.

It's a flawless album. Not one throwaway track. All songs could be potential singles. My favourite is Better Than Today. Such a great feel good song that I can't stop playing!

I'm loving all of these genuinely positive reviews - I'm gonna Spotify it first and if I like it then I'll buy it

Not generally a Kylie fan -- probably would say I'm a casual Kylie fan.

But I LOVE Aphrodite!! The first 6 songs are perfect, and I haven't really listened to the last 6 as much as I should, but I will more!!

Great, great album!!

I downloaded the album yesterday was iTunes was offering it to me for only £4 as I have the two singles, I have heard it a few times before on Spotify, but its great stuff, Aphrodite itself is a great song, as well as Too Much and Better than Today.

It's boring. It's bound to be re-released at some point with extra songs. like every other album seems to be these days. It's definitely not done as well as her label expected it to, I reckon.

i still have mixed feelings about the album. To me it sounds very dated but it's also very campy Kylie.

The 3 that make it for me are; Better Than Today, Aphrodite and CUpid Boy and i like Put Your Hands Up a bit but i still find it lacking authenticity and direction overall. It's not lyrically deep, but regardless it is a catchy club album.

Best of the year though?!?! for me it's not even close but it is a delight for Summer times i must say lol.

I do love the album but i prefer Body Langauge, Kylie Minogue 1994, Light Years and X to it.

It's boring. It's bound to be re-released at some point with extra songs. like every other album seems to be these days. It's definitely not done as well as her label expected it to, I reckon.
I hope she dosen't re-release it and i personally don't think she will, she hasn't really done it in the past and i think aphrodite will sell more than her last two efforts.

'for me' its the album of the year.
It's tied for me with Diana Vickers - Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree
