Hi all!

I wasn't going to post this morning (famous last words ), but I think my brain is getting bored from being on vacation. It is on overdrive at the moment, about lots of stuff, but also, of course, Chryed. So I thought I'd share some of it with you, to calm braincells down. I even dreamed of work last night, how sick is that?
My body, by the way, has no such problems. It just lounges around happily, taking little strolls, relaxing, no probs. My brain should listen to my body, clearly

We are always feeling smutty, well, most of us anyway

So I was reading a TV guide (Dutch one) for next week. It's a gay theme, because apparently it's gaypride this weekend here (I never remember these things. It has lots of stuff in it, I'll keep you posted if anything interesting (well, nothing Chryed obviously, because no one here watches EE, stupid people )
One thing already grabbed my attention. There was a piece about Jake Shears, of the Scissor Sisters. He said that one time, a family, mum dad and son came to talk to him backstage. Then when Jake mentioned his boyfriend, the dad said 'Not in front of my son'. How rude! He replied with: 'I'm gay, and this is my backstage, so if you don't like it, leave'. Seal claps anyone?

Anyway, one of the things I was racking my brain over, was how Syed couldn't bring himself to be intimate with Amira. Yes, yes, I know, I blame the discussion of SBM last night which made me re-watch it
So I was thinking, yes, obviously Syed is heavy on the gay side and that would make it (no pun intended) hard for him. But then again, plenty of gay man have attempted to 'hide' themselves in straight marriages, and been able to 'perform' when needed. So you could say Syed is just 'gayer then most'. But I'm wondering if it doesn't have more to do with the kind of person that Syed is. He loves Christian. His heart belongs to Christian. I think it would have felt like a betrayal to him to be this intimate with anyone other then Christian. Like he was cheating on him. Like someone else (was it Pear?) said, he was never cheating on Amira with Christian, he was cheating on Christian with Amira. Very reluctantly.
So yes, clearly, I mean, clearly, it's the gay thing, but even more than that, it's the love thing. Syed is a one man kind of man.
