Do you think they'll let this part go to 300 pages, and then split?
Every post I do now, I make a CTRL+C copy... because I've had too many posts disappear into no man's land in between threads... And it always happens when you write something really deep and meaningful, trying to make an intelligent point...
So no fear of it happening now then..

Except ... must say this... this pics night has cheered me up no end! Thank you all you lovelies for sharing

One of my fave shots from DC week. This is 'Head up,proud, smiling, all is right with the world' Syed so content with his lot.

In contrast with this.. tho still hot as hell

Just flying through while hubby is watching the athletics!!

Just read the WW spoiler re Zainab blanking Syed when he speaks to Denise. God that woman!!!

You'd think she'd have a sense of perspective when she's sitting talking to a friend who, only a few days earlier, she thought was dead!

I am now obsessed with the painting. I see it as a symbol of their relationship - I am really hoping either Tambo takes it to them, with all the rest of the box of Syed's things, or that if it does go in the charity shop, Christian, passing by, sees it and buys it and rescues it.

Cue a sweet scene where he gives it wrapped up like a present to Syed, but he's nervous, as is worried he'll be upset about his mum giving it away.....Syed's face being all sad but then melting into gorgeousness when he realises what Christian's done - then - a little speech about how it brought them together and is the symbol of their love. And they can paint some giant seagulls on it together.

Cue another I love you kiss - much hotter this time please. And then lots of joking around while Syed is up a ladder trying to hang it on the wall, and manages to fall backwards into Christian's arms....."easy Tiger" and end up rolling around on the floor on top of each other, laughing.

*Desperately hopes TPTB are lurking*

Request... : Anyone have a pic of Syed when he talks to Tam outside the flat. Tam says "better not tell them (= mum & dad about going to mosque with S), and that smile and look on Syed is just... guh! He looks so happy, even if it's rather tragic talking to his brother about lying to his bigoted parents...

Great post. Yes to BIB! I agree, a lot of Zainab's problem is having to acknowledge that, in the end, Syed did not choose her (and the family). It is a bitter pill for her to swallow and I think she is just avoiding having to face it at the moment.

Perspective lost on Zainab unfortunately. Oh the irony. I am really hoping that the follow on to this moment will be a stern talking to from Denise, she doesn't hold back her opinions, it must be chance for an outsider to step in and say something, surely?

Not looking forward to crestfallen Syed, be interesting to see how he reacts in this scene though, as to what stage he's now at with his mum, will he be stronger and more dignified. I hope so. I hope she makes herself look like right idiot, (Zainab).

I adore that look on his face. So relaxed and happy... Seeing him like that just makes me smile, smile, smile... Compare that to a few weeks (months?) ago when he looked so haunted and desperate all alone in his flat, confronted with that dreadful mother of his who'd just told him the day before.... Let's not go there, let's not....

I agree. Zainab is great when it comes to advice to other people but not so good at thinking it applies to her!! I hope Denise gives her what for as well. She came so close to thinking she might never see her daughters again and yet here is Zainab ignoring her son through choice!

I hope Syed deals with it with dignity too.
