Agreed. What I love about these two is how different they are, but how much I love them both equally!
And I mean Christian wouldn't usually even be my type.

Don't usually go for musclely men.
As I've said I never think 'Oh I hate Syed at the moment' or 'God, Christian is really peeing me off' It's more a 'Syed looks hotter today.' kind of thing...

I know, I wish we could hear more about both their past years. We get to hear about other characters' backgrounds; i.e; Ronnie, Max, Stacey, but never these two.

He was talked about as the black sheep for so long, and was mentioned as far back as Oct 2007 so I imagine people hyped the bad boy thing too much...

I didn't really like early Syed

He seemed too 'typically EE young male with an eye for the ladies and will cause lots of trouble...probably steal from his family again...pretty boring, predicable bad boy...lol...I am so thankful for DTC and his idea...

Armour, armour and more armour. I think he was lost for a long time, he met a woman, didn't he? I think he soon realised he had to be proud of who he was or no one else would be and that forced him to get strong. Armour would come in the form of pride and keeping people at a distance, putting value on everything that asked no questions of him. This is precisely what we saw before the Syed s/l. It's really quite sad, his back-story.

ETA: Looks like starfish is my brain twin tonight, but the naughtier one

He was quite cringy - but now I know why I love him for it. Didn't he call Roxy a godess as well, or have I imagined this.

I seem to recall a scene where Janine comes out in her underwear, and he's bemused, he makes it clear he's not interested!

It is like they changed personlitys for him early on but in interviews they have said Syed was always gay so makes little sense.

Bad boy and Ladies man what a complete and utter joke.

Yes he mention a woman to Syed, that would make sense that to try and make Mummy proud he tried to be straight and realised it was never gonna work.

I think we saw when he first came into that he was a bit of a dick, using people for what he could get out of them.

agree thats stright syed was awful. over compensating much
