My take on it is - John James thinks Josie thinks he's leading her on. He doesn't think it's like that - but since he can't tell her how he really feels while they're in the house he knows it looks like that to her .... he doesn't want to make a fool of her, but he can't stop wanting to be close to her - so the only thing he could think of to do was to leg it ....

Sorry - that sounded a lot clearer in my head than it does typed out ....

I spilled my guts on this forum the other morning because I was soooo afraid for Josie.

I have been in exactly the same situation as she is in now.

She's damned if she does and she's damned if she doesnt.

It hurts like ****, but you cant let them know because you love them too much to want them to feel the pain you are feeling. If you really love someone you will let them go, no matter what the pain to yourself.

20 years down the road I feel as though I have just lived through it all again.
