I am looking for a DVD recorder with a HDD, DVD- format and the ability to read JPEGS.. After looking around the only recorder that meet this criteria is the JVC DRMH30, and as a bonus had the 180gb HDD....
Question is, i cannot find an review of this model anywhere so does anybody know how/ good bad it really is ??? I dont even know if this is a relatively new model or just not in demand because it only seems to be stocked in a couple of online stores.
On spec alone it seems very good but at 500 quid its a lot of money to waste if its a bit of a lemon..........
Any help appreciated,
Cheers.

You won't see much information on this model as they have not yet been produced. The online stores will take orders for them but they don't have them yet.

I presume the Panasonic E100 must read jpegs as it has slots for memory cards.

It also depends on what you mean by read jpegs... you can get software to make picture dvds/cds that are compatible on any machine that can read DVD-Rs.

Thanks guys that explains the lack of information. In answer to the JPEG question i want a DVD player that reads JPEG's from a disc burnt with data from my PC, i.e no fooling around. I know some DVD players can read the folder structure and JPEG's in this way and this is really what i am after .
Is there any approx timescale for release of this machine ?

Latest information is that the DR-MH30 will arrive in the country on 30th June. They should be in the shops a week or two after that.
