Ahh sorry - with you now. Have a look at http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question...8120540AAg1p0R and http://sites.google.com/site/yukichigai/iphonex64

I've never tried 64bit xp personally - sorry I can't be of more help.

I use my iphone 4 with one of my laptopa which runs windows XP and it works perfectly fine. Never needed to hook it up to my Vista Laptop. I don't think you need Window's vista for the iphone 4.

But is your laptop running the 64 bit version of XP? It looks like it's not being supported any more...

Yes, it wont work.

XP 64 bit is a bit of a nightmare to install, upgrade or doing anything to. Drivers are a nightmare...and hardly any vendors write stuff for it now.

Better off doing an upgrade to Vista 64bit Ultimate and dropping that old os.

I can confirm iTunes works fine on Vista64

Your only other option would be to download a newer version of ntdll.dll for vista 64bit and see if that will work....but back up your old version!
