I have the Samsung Galaxy S and am learning how to use it (it only arrived today) I linked it up to my home wifi and was wondering if when I do this is it using my contract data?

Any tips and hints on using the phone will also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Sian

If you're connecting the phone to your wireless router the data used will be from your home internet connection and not your mobile network.

when I first got my smartphone in May and connected to home wifi (and told the wife she could do same for her phone) Sky told us we were using more than our allowance and so we've had to upgrade home broadband package. Just something to remember.
