9200T Programme Information

We'd be grateful for any help. When we press the i button to see what programme is about etc, it works fine on live TV. BUT when we go to our recorded programme and press the button the info screen is blank. This only started when the update came a few months back.

We have tried re-scans etc and nothing seems to work, checked aerial connections etc all to no avail.

I've noticed this too which is just something you have to put up with I'm afraid. Just add to to the list of bugs we get with every new firmware.

It does seem strange, we have another 9200T in a differnt room, did the update etc and everything still works fine - weird or what!

I’ve had this problem for ages. Long before any software update.

Yes, it has happened on and off for a long time, but only occasionally for me. Usually when it happens I find that if I press i at the start of the programme it gives the information for the previous programme, but later it gives a blank screen.

That is because the Humax Freeview PVRs take the current programme information from that shown in the EPG and is thus related to the scheduled time of the programmes. If a programme starts early (i.e. before the scheduled time) and is triggered to record by the EITp/f (Now/Next) data status change then initially the recording will store the name of the previous programme which will be displayed if the Info button is pressed during playback. It will usually change to show the correct programme name at the point in the recording at which the scheduled start time was reached. A similar situation can occur at the end of recordings when the programme over-runs the scheduled end time.

There are also times when the programme Info is blank. I assume this is an error.

I had this problem for several months last year. It was fixed when I did a re-format to resolve another problem (corrupted programme index).
