my audio jack does not work
i have like most laptops 2 jacks one pink and other black
the the pink one for micophone use i think still works, but the black one for hearing music or audio sounds, does not work at all...how can i fix it thanks |

I'm not familiar with this particular laptop, but many laptops have relay boards for the audio connectors, allowing to configure one audio connector as the headset output or the auxiliary input, for example. I'd check the audio settings in the control panel; could be that the black connector is not configured as a headset output right now.
Could also be that the connector broke, these are pretty fragile and get a lot of abuse. |

If you can't fix the jack, you could buy a usb soundcard from ebay - they only cost a couple of quid. Very compact, similar size to any other dongle.

Cheap at amazon too. And since some are reputed to be a bit fragile, maybe easier to return for a replacement. + read reviews.
