Obviously we all have certain species that we like more. Dogs, Cats and Duck Billed Platypuses some of the main culprits.

But is there that one animal, so cute, so furry and so amazing that you absolutely adore it. Not to the point that some 4channers go, because that's not something i want to get into.

Maybe it's an animal that you have grown up with, or saw at a zoo and loved it immediately. You love them, you can't bare to see them live in anything but a ten story mansion with all their favourite stuff, and possibly a harem.

Cats are the one animal that i favour above all. I have had them in my life since i was a baby, the family has always had cats even before i was born. I love them to bits. If i see one on the street i will go over and mollycoddle it and give it some food if i have any. I can't bare to see one look uncomfortable or in pain. I get upset even if i see a cat ill in a film or a fanfiction i'm reading. I even recall getting teary when i heard about that film in which the little kitten was starved and then offered poisined food, which soon devolved into torturing various people via how many hits he got on his website. Oddly enough i didn't particularly mind the human torture. Its just I get pissed if i see such a beautiful creature come under any threat.

I like cats, but I absolutely adore my cat. I'd do anything for her.

Cats for me too- can't walk past one in the street without stopping to talk to it and my two get picked up and cuddled every time they come into the house!

I like cats but it's impossible for me to have one 'cause I travel a fair bit (every few weeks). We do have a fish tank though.

Has to be parrots, especially african greys. I want one, and luckily after a recent visit to a tropical bird centre so does my girlfriend.

Dogs !
I just love them. From new born puppies to eldrley dogs, I just can't get enough of them !!
There are two pups in a garden in my street and I can never resist putting my fingers through the fence and have then nibble and lick my fingers all excitedly !
I have had dogs all my life, but my most recent Labrador Penny passed away in January 2009 and sadly, circumstances are not right for another liitle one.

Dogs.
I love everything about them (especially my two, of course).
I love that their whole body wriggles when they're happy. I love the smell of puppies tummies. I love old scruffy dogs, young boisterous dogs...all kinds. Squashed in faces, pointy faces...I just want to kiss their noses.
I love the expressions on their faces when they know they've done something wrong. I love that they grin when they're playing. I love their loyalty and their total unconditional love.

There isnt a creature more beautiful and than a horse...my love affair began nearly forty years ago. I consider myself very fortunate to own one.

I love hares too but am happy to admire them from a distance. Lifts my day to see one.

My darling miniature pinscher ( or minpin as they're known in the US) called Zoe. Got her from a rescue centre four years ago and love her deeply.

SOmeone who uses a site called 4chan (don't look it up it's NSFW) but they take a dim view of animal abuse and if someone finds a video of animal cruelty and it gets posted on 4chan, they will gang together and find out who the person is ... apparently several people have been prosecuted thanks to the 4channers, including that woman who threw the cat in a wheelie bin


I've loved horses since I was old enough to know what a horse was! I have had my lad for 18 months now and I love him to bits. He's very affectionate, and on one occasion nearly climbed over his stable door when he heard me talking to someone!

O.K. don`t laugh but I LOVE snails, not to eat but just in general..have done since I was about 2 years old! I now collect them, not real ones but every other sort.
They are just so lovely..
