New 3G Nokia! And a good one too! (Thanks for URL to infosyncworld.com)

Yaay! Not out till 4th quarter, but should make the Voda 3G launch and I think 3 have now learned the lesson of not selling all available handsets (See Nokia 7600).

I would be a little concerned that Vodafone might try and snatch this for an exclusive, but 2 things might stop them;

1) Their big, mahussive deal with Samsung for 3G handsets

2) This new Nokia handset isn't mobile video conferencing (see below) enabled. And while one of 3's Launch handsets couldn't cope with conferencing, I can't see Voda being that keen about selling their new service with a 'limited' handset.

Anyway; 1.2 Megapixel camera, MMC, Symbian, Nokia - in a 3G handset.... drool...

(Ok, still no mobile video calling, but Nokia have plans for a frankly bizarre mains powered camera attachment that'll let you do it from home or the office).

I was really looking forward to the Z1010, but the idea of Symbian and being able install my own programs from the MMC card (as opposed the expensive Memory Stick Duo) and a MegaPixel camera really has me going.

I've seen Z1010 photos and they're not even as good as my 7600.

Don't get me wrong, I've been planning to get the Z1010 for 18months now but if the 6630 is out by the time my contract renewal is up, I'll be going with Nokia.
