Don't think he has had formal dance training - he was a footballer before showbiz kicked in , but his wife is a dancer and runs a theatre school so he can get tips from her. Would love to see him do this.

I hope that they are getting a new set !

Matt Cutler, Faye Tozer, Vanilla Ice and Jonathan Wilkes all ought to have good musicality and performance skills, so as long as they're reasonably confident on skates, they should all be good. Kerry Katona is supposed to be a very good dancer so she may well surprise us and turn out to be just as good as any of them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jennifer Metcalfe and Julia Haworth turned out to be quite good as well.

To get Johnson Beharry is probably quite a coup. As to whether or not he'll be any good, we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm a bit stunned about Angela Rippon, though I don't agree with The Sun that she has an unfair advantage; she's quite a keen dancer but she's as much a novice skater as everyone else - and I'm sure she'll be a lot better than Ann Widdecombe on Strictly!

Why not? Ruthie Henshall also said something about competing at one point - although I think she was talking hypothetically.

If she's really doing it, I think it's quite brave of Angela Rippon to take it on.

I don't necessarily mean it shouldn't be allowed, I just personally (if I were Angela, which obviously I'm not!) would find it weird being judged by people I was sitting beside last year.

Although with at least Nicky definitely gone it might not exactly feel that way anyway, I suppose!

She was on it as a guest judge for one week. It's hardly like Cowell auditioning for Cheryl.
